Virtual assistant trustQuestion How can I trust a virtual assistant with confidential information?
Answer Trusting a Virtual Assistant (VA), someone you don't see regularly and may never meet, with confidential and proprietary information requires good judgment and sound business practices.
Prior to establishing the relationship, ask for and then check references for your prospective virtual assistant (or the company providing the VA). Then, get the appropriate signatures on a confidentiality agreement and/or non-disclosure agreement. Even then, some information probably should never be divulged, and as it is revealed, do so incrementally, as trust is established and trustworthiness is demonstrated.
